Our Roots and History:
It all began in 1974 in Veerasingankuppam, a serene village near Panruti, Tamil Nadu. Our founder, Mr. R. Munusamy, envisioned a brand that would represent the authentic taste of Indian cashews. In the early years, he personally collected raw cashew nuts from nearby villages and processed them manually in a small hut, supported by the skilled hands of local villagers. His commitment to quality ensured that our kernels were highly sought after in the Panruti markets. In 1985, the second generation took over as Mr. M. Ramachandran joined the business. He revolutionized the company by introducing machinery and scaling up our processing capacity, expanding our trade footprint across the entire state of Tamil Nadu. In 2012, he officially established the identity of our hard work by introducing the brand name 'VMR CASHEWS'.
Today, the legacy is carried forward by Mr. M.R. Ravichandran. Under his leadership, VMR Cashews has embraced the latest global technologies and machinery to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency. We have expanded our horizons by importing premium raw cashew nuts from African countries and supplying high-quality processed kernels to various states across India.
